Abstract

RIZA HIKMAWAN, The Correlation Between Workload With Performance at Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN), Jakarta. Study Program Of Commerce Education, Department Of Economics and Administration, Faculty Of Economics, State University Of Jakarta, June 2014. The study is aimed at obtaining valid and factual information and knowledge about correlation between workload wih performance at Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN) ), for four months from March 2014 until June 2014. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. Population in this research is all of Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN) employees, where as the possible populations who employees of Division penganggendaan dan distribusi Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN), amounting to 35 people. The technique which is used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 32 people. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 121.78 - 0.55 X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,055, while the Ltable for n = 32 at 0,05 significant level is 0,157. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 0,86 < 2,40, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which is 11,84 > 4,17, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = -0,532, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = -3.441 dan ttable = 1,68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = -0,532is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for rxy = (-0,532)2 = 0,2830 which shows that 28,30% of the variation of performance is determined by the workload.
