Abstract

The presence of mobile applications in the world of technology has brought new changes to the entire business industry. Various companies and technology developers use mobile applications as a form of marketing and promotion. One of them is a general insurance company that create mobile application for motor vehicle owners. This mobile application has various features that can be used by users and applied to their own vehicles. This study aims to determine the level of acceptance of technology from the mobile application, as well as knowing what is underlying the user in accepting and using the mobile application. The sample of this research is mobile application users who have downloaded the application. The total respondents in this study were 204 people. This research is quantitative research and use survey methods to collect data. The respondent data was collected by simple random sampling technique. The research questionnaire uses a Likert scale with one to six value intervals. The research data was processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on attitude, 2) website quality has a positive and significant effect on attitude, 3) attitude has a positive and significant effect on intention to use, 4) perceived risk has a positive and significant effect on intention to use, 5) perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on intention to use, 6) perceived ease of use has a negative effect on attitude, and 7) intention to use has a negative effect on actual system use.
