Abstract
HENDA HERNAWAN. The correlation Between Quality of Work Life with Organizational Commitment of PT . Federal Karyatama Pulogadung Industrial Estate’ Employees, Jakarta . Study Program of Commerce Education , Department of Economics and Administration , Faculty of Economics , State University of Jakarta , June 2015 . The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data and the valid and the reliable facts on the correlation between quality of work life and organizational commitment of PT . Federal Karyatama’ Employee . The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach . Population in this research is all of PT . Federal Karyatama’ Employees, where as the possible population who employees of the office division of HRD (Human Resource Development ) , IT (Information Technology ) and finance as many as 34 people . The technique which is in gathering the sample was simple random technique taken proportionately about 34 people . To capture data from these two variables are used questionnaire Likert scale model for the quality of work life ( Variable X ) and organizational commitment ( Variable Y ) . Before the instrument is used to tasted the validity for both variables . for variable X , from 24 point statement after the statement is validated there are 2 point drop invalid, while meeting the criteria or valid statement consists of 22 point . For a variable Y , From 28 point statement, after statement validated contained 1 points that drop invalid, while meeting the criteria or invalid items comprised 27 statement. Reliability calculation of both variable using Cronbach Alpha formula . The results of the X variable reliability of 0.909 and the reliability of variable Y 0.932 . These results prove that instrument is reliable . The resulting the regression equation is ŷ = 43,75 + 0,61 X. Requirements analysis that test of the normality test error estimates regression of Y on X to produce L count Lilliefors test = 0.0815, while the Ltabel for n = 32 at 0,05 significant level is 0.1556. Because the L count <L table then an error estimate of Y on X is normal distributed. Testing linearity of regression produce F calculated <F table is 0.68 <5.77, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression.The hypothesis test from significance regression test produces Fcount> Ftable, which is 39.33> 4.17, meaning that the regression equation significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating r xy = 0.753, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting Tcount = 6.271 and T table = 1.70. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient r xy = 0.753 is significant. The coeffiscient of determination obtained for 56.73% which shows that 56.73% of the variation organizational commitment determined by the quality of work life.
