Abstract

NUR CAHYO APRIYONO. CORRELATION BETWEEN PRODUCT QUALITY AND ADVERTISEMENT WITH BUYING DECISION SUZUKI MOTORBIKE AT STUDENT IN STATE UNIVERSITY OF JAKARTA. Script, Jakarta: Study Program of Commerce Education, Dapartment of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, June 2015. The study is aimed at obtaining valid, factual information and knowledge about correlation between product quality and advertisement with buying decision Suzuki motorbike at student in State University of Jakarta. This type of research is survey, with quantitative approach. Data recording use questionnaire technique. The population in this research were all student of State University of Jakarta are used Suzuki motorbike which amounts to 129 student with sample 89 student. The data analysis technique used was test requirements analysis, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis, analysis of the coefficient of determination, and the hypothesis test consist of t-test and F-test. Based on the analysis of the data found that there was a partial effect between product quality to buying decision. Can be seen from the results of data analysis showed tcount 2,576 ttable greater than 1,980. Meanwhile, the partial use of advertisement to buying decision, it is seen from the results of data analysis showed tcount 4,224 ttable greater than 1,980. Simultaneously there is influence of product quality and advertisement to buying decision. Can be seen from the results of data analysis showed Fcount value of 15,739 is greater than the value of 3,10 Ftable . The result of this study has proved the existence of a positive and significant correlation between product quality and advertisement with buying decision Suzuki motorbike at student in State University of Jakarta. This means that if the higher product quality and advertisement will make the better buying decision.
