Abstract

ABSTRACT Resti Mulyana. 8105132226. The Inflience of Situational Leadership Style and Physical Work Environment on Job Satisfaction at Employees of PT. PLN (Persero) in South Banten Area. Script, Jakarta: Education Program Administration Office, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2017. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between situational leadership style and physical work environment to job satisfaction at employees of PT. PLN (Persero) in South Banten Area. This research was conducted in April 2017 until July 2017. The research method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population in this study is to be the population is employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Area Banten Selatan which amounted to 50 employees. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling, so that the number of research samples as much as 44 respondents. Data collection techniques used survey techniques, interview and questionnaires. To get the data of job satisfaction (Y), done by spreader cake to respondent and interviewed some employees of PT. PLN (Persero) South Banten Area. Then data situational leadership style (X1) through a questionnaire filled by employees and the results of interviews with the leadership. Physical work environment (X2) obtained from the results of the distribution of questionnaires on respondents. Based on the result of the analysis it is known that there is partial influence between force Situational leadership and job satisfaction. Can be seen from the data analysis results note that the value of tcount of 2.019. Then it is known there is a partial influence between the physical work environment and job satisfaction. Can be seen from the results of data analysis known that the value of t count equal to 3.603> t table of 2.019. Situational leadership style and physical work environment simultaneously affect the job satisfaction, it is seen from the results of data showing the value of Fcount of 4.195> ttable equal to 25,110> Ftable value of 3.23. The regression equation obtained is Y = 24,433 + 0,379X 1 + 0,495X on the determination coefficient test obtained value R2 0.551 which means situational leadership style (X1) and physical work environment (X2) has an effect of 55.1% on job satisfaction (Y.)
