Abstract

ABSTRACT YUDI NUR MUHAMAD. 8105133177. THE EFFECT OF WORK DISCIPLNE AND WORK MOTIVATION TOWARD ORGANIZATION COMMITMENT ON EMPLOYEE OF PT ARKONIN JAKARTA. Script, Jakarta: Study Program Office Administration, Faculty of Economics, State Unieversity of Jakarta. 2017. This study attempts to know whether is the work of discipline and work of motivation for organization work commitment on employees in PT Arkonin Jakarta. The study is done starting May until July 2017. The methodology used is the method survey by the quantitative approach. The population of the research is permanent workers in PT Arkonin Jakarta who were 150 and researchers used technique proportional random sampling or technique random proportionate. An instrument used to obtain data variable X1 (work discipline ), X2 (work motivation ) and variable Y (commitment organization) measured uses a questionnaire Likert scale. This data was then tested and reabilitas validity, and analysis through regression technique and assumptions multiple the classic. Hypothesis tested with significant on 0,050 margin of error using t-test and analysis variance (anova). The research results show there are significant influence work between work discipline and work motivation against the commitment of work organization with the regression equation Ý = 26,612 x1 + 0,689 + 0,243 x2. Analysis of results data, obtained Fcount 38,316 > Ftable 3,09. This means that the hypothesis said that there was significant influence work between discipline and motivation of work organization against commitment accepted. Based on t-result, work discipline has significant influence toward organization commitment with tcount 6,938>ttable 1,983 and work motivation has significant influence toward organization commitment with tcount 4,107>ttable 1,983. Meanwhile, a coefficient determination to R2 is 43,4% while the rest were 56,6% influenced by other factors not researched. Keyword : work discipline, work motivation and organization commitment
