Abstract

AMIRAH LUTHFIYYAH. 8105150278. THE EFFECT OF WORK ENVIRONMENT AND MOTIVATION TO JOB SATISFACTION ON EMPLOYEE AT BANK TABUNGAN NEGARA (BTN) KCU BOGOR. The Bank is a Business Entity Owning an Indonesian State in the form of a limited liability company and engaged in banking financial services. The success of banks in facing competition is determined by the quality of human resources. Many banks are not able to compete because the quality of their human resources is not good. Poor human resources are unable to adapt to the rapidly advancing technology. As a result, employee productivity cannot be optimal due to limited capabilities. Job satisfaction is one factor for employees to be able to work optimally, because it is very influential for the company's activities.This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the work environment and motivation on job satisfaction on employees of the Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) KCU Bogor. This research was conducted for 4 months starting from February 2019 until May 2019. The research method used is a survey method with a regression approach. The population in this study were all employees of Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) KCU Bogor as many as 230 employees. The sample used was 89 employees using proportional random sampling. Data on Work Environment variable (X1), Motivation (X2), and Job Satisfaction (Y) are primary data using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 25.0. the results of the F Test in the ANOVA table produce F count 116.972> F table 3.10, this means that simultaneously X1 and X2 are related to Y. T test produces t count X1 7.035> t table 1.987 can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the Work Environment (X1) with Job Satisfaction (Y). Then t count X2 4213> t table 1.987 can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between Motivation and Job Satisfaction. Test the coefficient of determination (R square) of 73.1% and the remaining 28.7% is influenced by other factors that are not careful. Keywords: Work Environment, Motivation, Job Satisfaction
