Abstract

ALIVA PASHA ARDA. 8105154069. The Influence Of Students’ Perceptions In Teachers’ Teaching Skills and Students’ Discipline On Students’ Learning Outcomes In The Business Economic Subject For 10th Grader Students In Smkn 22 Jakarta. 2019 This study aims to determine the effect of student perceptions of teaching skills by teachers and student discipline towards student learning outcomes in business economic lesson for class X of SMK Negeri 22 Jakarta, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. Data collection uses document recording techniques and questionnaires. Population in this study are students of class X at SMK Negeri 22 Jakarta, totaling 216 students with sample of 135 students. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing consisting of t test and F test. Based on the results of data analysis, known that there is a partial influence between learning outcomes in business economics lesson with student perceptions of teaching skills by teachers. Can be seen from the results of data analysis which shows the value of tcount is greater than t table (6.124 > 1.9781). Partial student discipline also has an influence on student learning outcomes, from the results of data analysis which shows the value of tcount is greater than the table ( 2.658 > 1.9781). Simultaneously there is an influence of students' perceptions of teaching skills by teachers and student discipline on learning outcomes. Can be seen from the results of data analysis which shows that the calculated F value is greater than the Ftable ( 26,683 > 3,06). There is a positive and meaningful influence between students' perceptions of teaching skills by teacher and student discipline with a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.537 thus, the research hypothesis is accepted. Coefficient of determination (R2) is 28.8%, which means the influence of students perception to teachers’ teaching skill and students’ discipline to study result in business economics subject is only 28.8%. Otherwise, 71,2% are influenced by other variables (indicators) that are not included in this study. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Teaching Skills, Student Discipline
