Abstract

RIMARDHANTY. Correlation Between Learning Motivation with Students Learning Outcomes Mathematics In Class X SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 2 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta. Commerce Education Study Program, Economic and Administration Department, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, June 2015. The aim of this research is to obtain empirical data, valid and reliable fact concerning or not there is Correlation Between Learning Motivation with Students Learning Outcomes Mathematics In Class X SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 2 Jakarta. This research conducted of Marketing class, SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 2 Jakarta. During 4 months counted from March 2015 until June 2015. This research used survey method with approach of correlation. Technique intake of used sample that is simple random sampling technique. The population were students of X grade of marketing class amount 140 students. From the reached population amount reached the taken as sample amount 100 students. Data analysis by using sample of population table Isaac & Michael with sampling error 5%. To get data from one of the variables, researcher using likert scale model for Learning Motivation (X variable). For variable X from 31 statements which had validated, 28 statements were valid and 3 statements were drop. The calculation of the variables X reliability using Alpha Cronbach method and variable X reliability is 0,931. This proof that the instruments were valid and reliable. The equation for linear regression is Ŷ= 62.23+ 0.197 X. analysis of condition test, which is normality error test for regression approximates of X on Y with liliefors test, result in Lcount = 0.074, and Ltable for n=100 with significance of 0.05 is 0.089, because Lcount < Ltable then normality error test is normal distribution. And linearity regression test yield, in Fcount < Ftable is 1.00 < 1.63 that can be interpreted that the regression equation is linear. Significance regression result in Fcount > Ftable is 45.39 > 3.96, its mean that the regression equation is significant. Result of hypothesis test with Pearson’s Product Moment shows that rxy = 0.563, then significance of product moment correlation is tested with t-test which yields tcount =6.74 and ttable = 1.67. It can be result that product moment correlation rxy = 0.563 is significant. Coefficient of determined obtained equal to 31.65%, its mean that 31.65% varians of Learning Outcomes by Learning Motivation. Result of the calculation concludes that there is positive and Significance correlation between Learning Motivation with Students Learning Outcomes Mathematics in class X SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 2 Jakarta.
