Abstract
DEWI SARA HARTINA, The Correlation Between Emotional Intelligence with Job Stress On Employees At Public Broadcasting Television Indonesian Republic in Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta : Commerce Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2015 This study aimed to obtain the right data (authentic, true, valid) and trustworthy (reliable). The research was conducted at the Public Broadcasting Television Indonesian Republic, for four months from March 2015 until June 2015. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this research is the employees of Public Broadcasting Television Indonesian Republic, while the population of inaccessibility is the employees division of the budget, and divison of the accounting and taxation as many as 54 people. The sample used by is 48 people. The sampling technique used in this study is the sample techniques taken of proportionally with simple random sampling. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 128,24  0,51 X. Test requirement analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount lilliefors test = 0,1269, while the Ltable for n = 48 at 0,05 significant level is 0,1279. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimated of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 1,09 < 2,05, so it is concluded that the linear equation regression. Hypothesis testing form test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which 41,37 > 4,05, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,688, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount < ttable, tcount = 6,432 and ttable = 1,68. It can be concluded that thitung (6,432) < ttabel (1,68), then there is a negative and significant correlation between the variable X and variable Y. The coefficient of determination obtain for is 47,35%, which shows that 47,35% of the variation of job stress is determined by the emotional intelligence.
