Abstract

HELMI FADILLAH. 8105151336. The Relationship between Self-Efficacy and Self-Control with Academic Procrastination on Student Class XI at SMKN 15 Jakarta. 2019. This research aims to determine relationship between Self-Efficacy with Academic Procrastination on Student Class XI at SMKN 15 Jakarta, determine relationship between Self-Control with Academic Procrastination on Student Class XI at SMKN 15 Jakarta, and to determine relationship between Self-Efficacy and Self-Control with Academic Procrastination on Student Class XI at SMKN 15 Jakarta. This research was conducted for six months starting from February 2019 until July 2019. The research used survey method. The population in this study is all students of SMKN 15 Jakarta. The reachable population is all students class XI SMKN 15 Jakarta. Technic of sampling using proportional random sampling with 131 responden. Y varible (Academic Procrastination), X1 (Self-Efficacy), X2 (Self- Control) is the primary data using a questionnaire with Likert scale model. Data analysis technique using SPSS 25.0. F test result is F count (49,380) > F table (3,07), in this case X1 and X2 varibles simultaniously has relationship with Y variable. T test produce X1 t count (-2,511) < t table (-1,978), it means there is negative and significant relationship between X1 with Y. X2 t count (-7,466) < t table (-1,978), it means there is negative and significant relationship between X2 with Y. Based the analysis of multiple regression equation obtained equation Ŷ = 224,567 - 0,189X1 - 1,114X2. The value of coefficient correlation (R) is 0,660 which is categorized as a strong relationship. Based of determination coefficient (R²) test obtained value 44% which means Self-Efficacy (X1) and Self-Control (X2) have an effect on academic procrastination (Y) equal to 44% and the rest 56% influenced by other variables that are not researched.
