Abstract
Rizka Yuniar. The Effect Of Board Compensation and Independent Commisioner of the Firm Performance on Manufacturing Firm Listed by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Period 2013-2017. Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2019. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of Board Compensation and Independent Commissioner of the Firm Performance on Manufactur Firm Listed by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Period 2013 - 2017. Independent Variable of these study are Board Compensation and Independent Commissioner as a mechanism of Corporate Governance. While dependent variable is Firm Performance. Then control Variable in these study are Leverage, Firm Age, and Firm Size. The data used in this study is annual report of manufactur firms that published by IDX during 2013 – 2017. The sampling method of this study is purposive sampling technique. The research model in this study employs panel data analysis with Fixed Effect Model and Random Effect Model approach. The empirical result shows that Board Compensation have unsignificantly influences to firm performance. Independent Commisioner has positive and significant influence to return on assets and negative significant influence Tobin’s Q. Leverage has positive and significant influence to return on assets and negative significant influence Tobin’s Q. Firm Age has positive and significant influence to return on assets and negative significant influence Tobin’s Q. Firm size has negative significant influence Tobin’s Q and unsignificantly influences to return on assets.
