Abstract

EKA AMALIA NURMIFTAHATI. 8105142727. "The Effect of Motivation and Organizational Commitment on Performance in PT Kabelindo Murni Tbk Employees in East Jakarta". Script. Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. January 2020. This research was conducted to determine the motivation and organizational commitment to the performance of employees of PT Kabelindo Murni Tbk in East Jakarta. The research method used is the survey method. The affordable population used in this study were employees of the BW, MV and LV production which can be accessed by 184 people. The sample used in this study was 119 companies that used proportional random sampling techniques. Data variable Y (performance) is secondary data, while data variables X1 (motivation) and X2 (organizational commitment) are primary data using international standard scales with Likert scale models. Data is then tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using multiple regression techniques and classic assumption tests. The data analysis technique uses SPSS version 22.0. The results showed that there was a significant difference between motivation and organizational commitment to performance with regression coefficients Ŷ = 55,220 + 0,432 X1 + 0,181 X2. From the results of the F test in the ANOVA table it produces Fcount 18.023> Ftable 3.07 which supports motivation and organizational commitment to performance. The t test produces tcount X1 6.661> t table 1.981. Because tcount > ttable then it can be concluded that it is positive from motivation with performance. Furthermore, tcount X2 2.822> ttable 1.981. Because tcount> ttable then it can be concluded that it is positive from organizational commitment and performance. Furthermore, the test results of the coefficient of determination obtained 0.536 influence of independent variables (motivation and organizational commitment) on the dependent variable (performance) of 53.6%.
