Abstract

ABSTRACT NOVIA FAHRUNNISA. The Correlation Between Job Stress with Job Satisfaction at Pioneer Company in Jakarta. Script, Jakarta: Economic Education Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. Mei 2016. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between job stress with job satisfaction at Pioneer Jakarta. This research was conducted for three months starting in March 2016 to Mei 2016. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study were employee Pioneer Company in Jakarta totaling 246 employees. And population affordable from this research is limited to employee in the Industrial Enginee, Marine Enginee and Finance, ADM & Planning division which have 181 employees. According to the table and sample population with a level of misunderstanding 5% then obtained a sample of 119 employee by using simple random technique. Data from variable X about job stress is the primary data in the form of questionnaires and Y on job satisfaction is the primary data in the form of questionnaires. Test requirements analysis done is to find the regression equation obtained is Y = 125,49-0,647X. Normality test results Liliefors produce and Ltable = 0,042 Lcount = 0,081 at the significance level (a) = 0:05 to the number of samples (n) 119. Because Lcount = (0,042) <Ltable = (0.081) then variable X and Y have normal distribution. Testing the hypothesis with a significance test of regression produces Fhitung (82,17)> F table (3.92), which means a significant regression equation. Produce regression linearity test of Fhitung (1,52) <Ftabel (1,60) so Fhitung <Ftabel it can be concluded that the model is a linear regression equation. Product moment correlation coefficient = -0.645 produce rhitung. T-test produces thitung (-9,12) <t table (-1,66). Thus it can be stated correlation coefficient r xy = -0,645 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained at 41,55% indicates that 41,55% of the variation is determined by test anxiety with learning outcomes and the remaining 58.45% influenced by other variables not examined. Based on the results of this study concluded that there is a negative and significant relationship between job stress with job satisfaction of Pioneer Company in Jakarta.
