Abstract

ABSTRACT SITI NUR HIKMAHTUN FAJRIYAH. 8105120477. Correlation Between Transformational Leadership And Employees’ Organizational Culture On PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) At Post Office In East Jakarta. Script, Jakarta: Study Program of Economy Education, Faculty Of Economy, State University of Jakarta. 2016. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between transformational leadership on organizational culture on employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Post Office In East Jakarta. This study was conducted over four months from March to June 2016. The research method used is survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Post Office In East Jakarta 417 employees, with a population of affordability are employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Post Office In East Jakarta in business, a number of 126 employees. And the sampling technique used was proportional random sampling techniques, the samples in this study were 95 respondents. The instrument used to obtain the data variable X (transformational leadership), and Y (organizational culture) was measured using a likert scale. The data analysis technique begins with finding regression equation in the can is Y = 91,41 + 0,538X. Normality test results Liliefors produce L hitung = 0,052 while Ltabel = 0,089. Because Lhitung <Ltabel the variables X and Y have normal distribution. Testing the hypothesis with a significance test of regression produces Fhitung 44,68 and Ftabel of 3,94. Fhitung (44,68) > Ftable (3,94), which means a significant regression equation. Fhitung regression linearity test resulted in 0,68 while Ftabel 1,61. Of F (0,68) <1,61 Ftabel thus concluded that the linear regression equation. Product moment correlation coefficient r yield calculated at 0,570. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient significance test by using t-test, produce t hitung 6,68>1,665 ttabel . Based on the results of these studies conclude that there is a relationship between transformational leadership with organizational culture on employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Post Office In East Jakarta. With coefficient determination test results obtained 32,45%, it can be concluded there is a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership with the organization's culture. With the lowest indicators of organizational culture is the value of the subindicator, namely the shared conviction, that the company should provide socialization to employees related to the values that exist in the company, so that employees can understand and apply ethical values, especially related to the employee in completing the work. While the lowest indicator on transformational leadership is an indicator of the influence of the ideal (ideal behavior). So it is suggested, that the leader in the enterprise can be a role model or a model for its employees to behave. Keywords: Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture
