Abstract

ABSTRACT Ulfah Fitriah. 8105112245. The Influence of Job Dicipline and Office Environment on Job Satisfaction at CV. KOSTRAD JAYA TEKNIK. Script, Jakarta: Concentration Office Administration, Economics of Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between job discipline and job environments on employee satisfaction in employees CV. Kostrad Jaya TEKNIK. This research was conducted for 3 months from September to November 2015. Research method which is used, survey method. The population in this study was 122 employees in CV. KOSTRAD JAYA TEKNIK and researchers took 89 employees as samples by using proportional random technique. Instruments used to obtain data on the variables X (work discipline), it was measured by using a disciplined assessment of employees, X1 (work environment and also measured by using a questionnaire with Likert scale, and Y (job satisfaction) were measured using a questionnaire with Likert scale. Then, the data is tested by validity and reliability, and analysis through multiple regression techniques and classical assumption test. The hypothesis was tested significant at the 0.05 margin of error using t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed no significant influence between work discipline and working environments on job satisfaction of employees with the regression equation Y = 29,627 + 0,670X2. From the analysis of the data, it obtained that Fhitung is 39.264> F = 3.11. This mean the hypothesis stated that there is any significan influence between discipline and work environment on job satisfaction in employees received. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination of R2 is 45,5% while the remaining 54,5% is influenced by other factors that is not examined. Based on this results suggested for the management company to be able to apply the discipline of good work and improve the working environment in order to improve the job satisfaction of employees.
