Abstract

ABSTRACT SARI KUMALA SIREGAR. Effect of Self Regulated Learning and Self Efficacy Against Procrastination of Student Thesis Preparation at Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta. Economic Cooperation Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, August 2017. This research was conducted at State University of Jakarta, for two months since May 2017 until June 2017. The method used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach and using primary data for independent variable that is self regulated learning (Variable X1) and self efficacy ( Variable X2) as the variable that influences and the dependent variable is procrastination (Variable Y) as the variable that influenced. The data used by researchers is quantitative data. Data analysis was done by analyzing primary data of multiple linear regression analysis model which will be used. The population in this study are all students of Faculty of Economics, 2013 State University of Jakarta, totaling 697 people. The affordable population of this study amounted to 600 students. The results of this study that: 1) Self regulated learning (X1) correlated significantly with procrastination (Y) preparation of thesis on students. The relationship is negative meaning that the higher self-regulated learning that the student has, the lower the procrastination of the preparation of student's thesis. 2) Self efficacy (X2) correlates significantly with procrastination (Y). The relationship is negative meaning that the higher self efficacy that the students have, the lower the procrastination of students in doing thesis task.
