ABSTRACT DITA ARLITA. 8105132144. The Influence of Employee Placement and Work Motivation on Job Satisfaction At Employee of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 1 Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, Stare University of Jakarta, June 2017. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of employee placement and work motivation on job satisfaction at employees in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta. This research was conducted for three months starting from April until June 2016. The research method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population in this research is all employees in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta. The population is all employees of 127 employees. The sample used in this research is 95 employees by using simple random sampling technique. Data of variable Y (Job Satisfaction), variable X1 (Employee Placement) variable X2 (Work Motivation) is primary data, instrument used is kusioner by using Likert scale model. Prior to use, tested the validity of the construct through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient of grain score with total score and reliability test. The results of the variable reliability of Y of 0.71, X1 of 1.05, X2 of 0.75 and prove that the instrument is reliable. Data analysis technique using SPSS program version 21.0, started by looking for test requirement analysis that is normality test and in can value X1 equal to 0,956, X2 equal to 0,335 and Y equal to 0,912 which all bigger than 0,05 significance hence normal distributed data. Then look for classical assumption test that is multicollinearity Tolerance value 0,509 which is bigger than 0,1 and VIF less than 10 that is 1,965, can be concluded that not happened multicollinearity problem. Next look for heteroscedasticity test, which yields significance value X10,686 and X20,853. Because the value of significance is more than 0.05 then there is no problem of heteroscedasticity. The regression equation obtained is Y = 29.960 + 0.789X1 + 0.260X2. Hypothesis test that is Ftest, known Fhitung 29,547> Ftabel 3,10. The t test produces tcount from employee placement 6,875> ttable 1,661 and tcount from work motivation 2,366> t tabel 1,661. Then the determination coefficient test yielded 39.1%. The conclusion of this research is there is significant influence between employee placement and work motivation to work satisfaction at employee at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Area Operasi 1 Jakarta.
