Abstract

ABSTRACT Dewi Mulyawati. Correlation Between Job Insecurity With Turnover Intention At Production Employee PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk. The Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the Correlation Between Job Insecurity With Turnover Intention At Production Employee PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk. The research healed at PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk for three months since May until July 2012. The method of this research is survey method with correlation approach. The population research was all of employees with total 347 employees, while the reach of populations were production employee with total 124 employees, with 89 employees for sampling. Collecting X variable data (Job Insecurity) and Y variabel data (Turnover Intention), using likert scale, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach. Reliability X variable (Job Insecurity) is 0,798 and Y variable (Turnover Intention) is 0,824. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y= 24,01 + 0,695X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,036 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,094, so count < L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count (27,64) > F (3,96). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F table (1,02) < F (1,70), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r table = 0,491 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t xy count table count = (5,26) while t = (1,67) and so, t count > t . It means that there are significance and positive correlations between job insecurity and turnover intention. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 24,11%, it means that Job Insecurity variable determined by 24,11%, Turnover intention table variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a positive correlations between Job Insecurity and Turnover Intention At Production Employee PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk
