Abstract
SEPTI WAHYUNING KOMALASARI. The Correlation between Growth Opportunity with Profitability In the period 2012 Manufacturing Companies Listed On The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Faculty of Economics State University of Jakarta, 2014. This research aims to determine whether there are a correlation between Growth Opportunity with theProfitability In Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This observation using survey methods with a correlational approach and use the data facto exposure. Data collection techniques in this observation by collecting secondary data, that is data of a manufacturing company's financial statements contained in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2012. Regression test and Product Moment Correlation from Pearson are the method of analysis. The result of regression test analysis shows that; (a) Based on the estimated regression normality test error Y over X stated that the data were normally distributed, (b) Based Regression Testing linearity can be concluded that the model is a linear regression equation. The result of Product Moment Correlation from Pearson shows that growth opportunityhave positive and significant influence on profitability in the manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
