Abstract

ABSTRACT WIWIN EKA HANDAYANI. EFFORTS IMPROVE THE RESULTS OF LEARNING SUBJECTS IN BEKERJASAMA DENGAN KOLEGA DAN PELANGGAN THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF CONTEXTUAL APPROACH TO TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) WITH THE STRATEGY OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING (PBL) IN CLASS X ADMINISTRATION OFFICES 2 AT SMK YPK KESATUAN. FACULTY OF ECONOMICS STATE UNIVERSITY OF JAKARTA. 2012 Purpose of this action research aims to know is this to improve student learning outcomes in collaboration with Colleague subjects and customers through the application of Contextual approach to Teaching and Learning with Problem-Based Learning strategies. Expected after doing the implementation class actions can help improve students' understanding in the process of learning activities that directly impact on student learning outcomes. Method that used in this research was conducted by a research methods class action made during 1 month in June, with 3 cycles. The subject of this class action is a research student Administration Office 2 class X in SMK YPK unity of South Jakarta. Practice of this action research was conducted with the following stages are repeated cycles and the steps that have been set so that the achievement of the goal of Contextual approach to Teaching and Learning with Problem-Based Learning strategies. The result of the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning by Problem-Based Learning strategies can be seen on the liveliness of the students during the learning process and increased student learning results obtained after following the process of teaching and learning activities. The results of this research suggested that the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning by Problem-Based Learning Strategy have rise improvement of student learning outcomes. The success of the Contextual approach to Teaching and Learning with Problem-Based Learning strategies can be achieved due to the cooperation between researchers and students. Based on the data obtained, the student learning outcomes in each cycle is increased from the initial conditions i.e. on cycle I average earnings results class of student learning outcomes, 71.07 became rose by 68% in the number of students who finished his studies in 19 students. In cycle II gains an average grade of student learning outcomes, 73.93 rose by 89% with the number of students who finished his studies in as many as 25 students. And student learning outcomes in cycle III gains the average grade of 82.14, student learning outcomes rises to 100%. So that, the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning by Problem-Based Learning strategy is expected to be implemented by educators as the innovation education in the process of teaching and learning activities.
