Abstract

DWI ARIANTO. The Correlation Between Company Size With Disclosure Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) The Industry Companies Go Public in Indonesian Stock Exchange. Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purposes of this research are to get validity and reliable data or fact about how strong The Correlation Between Company Size With Disclosure Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) The Industry Companies Go Public in in Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research use method ex post facto with the correlation approach. While the data is gained from annual report gated from research in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The reach populations are the industry companies publish annual reports during 2010 and 2011 years their registered in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. With a total of 40 companies. The sample which is taken by using Judgment Sampling appropriate Isaac and Michael table with 95% significance level (error 5%) so the total sample are 36 companies. The analysis test by finding regression equation, is Ŷ = 8.28 + 4.21 X. After that, data normality test by using liliefors formula and the result is L = 0.104 in significant level 0.05 significant and L table 0.148, so so L count < L count , mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normally distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count (5,24) > F table table (4,13) showing that it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, the linearity test result, F count (0,52) < F (8,62), showing that regression is linear. The result or Product moment of correlation coefficient test is r table = 0.37. Continued by using correlation coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result t xy 2.32 while t at dk = n - 2 = 34 and significance coeficience 0.05 is 1.70, it’s means t table count > t . Beside that the result of determination coefficient test is 13,69% means that Disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)13,69% by Company's size. The conclusion show that research has positive relation between Company Size with Disclosure Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)at table the industry Companies Go Public in Indonesian Stock Exchange. It can be concluded that the larger size of the company or the greater the number of assets, the higher the level of disclosure of corporate social responsibility.
