Abstract
ABSTRACT Stefanny Permata Intan, 2016; The Effect of Profitability, Leverage, Firm Size, and Multinationality on Investment Opportunity Set : Evidence from Manufacturing Firm Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 20102014. Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration of Financial Management, Study Program of Management, Departement of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of Profitability, Leverage, Firm Size, and Multinationality on Investment Opportunity Set : Evidence from Manufacturing Firm Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2010-2014. The sample is from sixty one companies and using purposive sampling. The research model in this study employs panel data analysis with fixed effect model approach. The empirical result shows that profitability has negative and significant effect, leverage has negative and significant effect, firm size has positive and significant effect on investment opportunity set but multinationality has positive and not significant effect on investment opportunity set. Simultaneous test shows that profitability, leverage, firm size, and multinationality effects the investment opportunity set.
