Abstract

Risa Tiar Steffani, 2011; The Influence of Financial Performance On Manufacturing Firm Value At Indonesia Stock Exchanges With Environmental Performance as a Moderating Variable. The purposes of this study are to empirically examine the influence of Financial Performance (ROA and ROE) On Firm Value (Tobin’s Q). Unconsistanly previous researchers about the relationship could be indicated that there is moderating variabel to influence the relationship. . Environmental was choisen in this research because manufacturing firms have relation with exploring natural resources and part of corporate social responsibility. This research used secondary data as annual report, PROPER report that published by Environmental Ministries Republic of Indonesia. The sample of this research is manufacture firm which is listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over 20072009 and listed of PROPER programme by Environmental Ministries Republic of Indonesia over the sam period.The research sample are 34 firms . Testing hypothesis on relationship between financial performance (ROA and ROE) and firm value (Tobin’s Q) used the moderating regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that There was influence between ROA and firm value and environmental performance could not influenced the relationship. But in other side, ROE was no influence on firm value but environmental performance could made influence that relationship. The result of simultan researched, ROA dan ROE had influence on firm value as environmental performance as moderating variable.
