Abstract

MEDIANA AGUSTIN. The Influence of School Literacy Movement Program (GLS) on Student Interest in Accounting Department SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta. Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2018. This study aims to determine the influence of School Literacy Movement (GLS) on the interest of reading students accounting SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta, either partially or simultaneously. This research uses survey method with quantitative approach. Data collection using document recording techniques, observations and questionnaires. Affordable population in this study were students of class XI and XII Accounting at SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta, totaling 106 students with a sample of 84 students. Data analysis technique used is simple linear regression, and hypothesis test consisting of t test and test f. Based on the result of data analysis, it is known that there is partial influence between School Literacy Movement (GLS). Can be seen from the results of data analysis shows the value of tarithmetic of 4.61 is greater than ttable of 1.98. Simultaneously there is influence between School Literacy Movement (GLS) with reading interest. Can be seen from the results of data analysis shows the value of Farithmetic of 21.21 greater than the value of Ftable of 3.957. There is a positive and significant influence between School Literacy Movement (GLS) with reading interest with correlation coefficient 0,4533 thus, rese arch hypothesis accepted, then known coefficient of determination (R2) equal to 21%.
