Abstract
The purpose of this research is to : 1) To analyze descriptively the level of student’s financial literacy force 2014 -2017 faculty of economics of state university of Jakarta. 2) To analyze descriptively the level of student’s capital market knowledge force 2014 -2017 faculty of economics of state university of Jakarta. 3) to analyze whether there is a difference between the sexes, the year admission, the choice of sicence (education and non-education) and advanced financial management courses on financial literacy and capital market knowledge. This study used sample of 394 respondents of faculty of economics students of state universities Jakarta. This studies uses statistical descriptions and ANOVA tests. The results of this study indicate that : 1) the level of financial literacy in the medium category (60% - 80%) that is indicated by the average true answer of 61% of 394 respondents. 2) capital market knowledge with an average correct answer 53% of 394 respondents. 3) of the four hypotheses tested only the gender of which there is a difference, while for the choice of science, force, and subjects there is no difference.
