Abstract

MIFTAHUL HUDA. THE CORRELATION BETWEEN AFTER SALES SERVICE WITH CONSUMER BUYING DECISION SONY XPERIA MOBILE PHONE AT COMMERCE EDUCATION STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS, STATE UNIVERSITY OF JAKARTA. Commerce Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, January 2015. This study aims to determine the relationship between the after sales service consumer purchasing decisions on handphone sony experia RW 010 Medan Satria in Bekasi based on data or facts right (valid, true, valid), and trustworthy (reliable). This study used a descriptive method with a descriptive approach to the correlation approach. Independent variable is after sales service and purchase decision is bound variable. The population in this study is the students of comemerce education, faculty of economics, state university of jakarta while the population of inaccessibility the students year 2012 and 2013 as many as 45 people. The sample used by 40 people. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random. Data analysis techniques starts with finding a simple linear regression equation and obtained Y = 40.92 + 0.59 X Test requirements analysis is normality test on estimated regression error Y over X obtained by test calculations Liliefors Lo = 0.0505 while Lt = 0, in 1477. This indicates that the regression model are normally distributed. While regression testing obtained linearity Fcount = 0,71 while Ftable = 2.15, this shows that the linear regression model. Test of hypothesis testing with a simple correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment obtained rxy = 0.532 then this means that there is a positive association between after sales service with purchasing decisions. From test calculations - t known tcount = 3.874> table = 1.70, so this shows that there is a significant relationship between after sales service with purchasing decisions. While the results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination values obtained 28.31% which indicates that the decision is determined by the purchase of 28.31% after salese service. The results of this study have shown a positive association between after sales service with the customer purchase decision handphone sony experia in students of commerse education program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta.
