Abstract

Deni Sukayugi Putriwati. Analysis of Factors Affecting Higher Order Thinking Skills of Students in Economic Subjects at Jakarta 11 Senior High School. Global competition in the 21st century is increasingly fierce which requires human resources to have high-level thinking skills, this is what underlies the implementation of this research. Support for internal and external conditions is needed to improve high-level thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to get an idea of how the self-concept, family environment, and school environment influence the high-level thinking skills of students on economic subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The location of the study was conducted at Jakarta 11 Public High School. The sample in this study was taken as many as 87 students through the calculation process with Slovin formula from 111 population of class XI students. Data collection techniques through questionnaires to students to measure aspects of self-concept, family environment and school environment, multiple choice tests to measure aspects of high-level thinking skills. The stages of data analysis include: (1) descriptive analysis, (2) assumption test (normality, multicollinearity, heterocedasticity), and (3) hypothesis testing (multiple regression test, determination coefficient test, F test, t test). based on hypothesis testing the following results are obtained: (1) self concept, family environment and school environment partially have a positive influence on students' high-level thinking skills, (2) self-concept, family environment and school environment simultaneously have a positive influence on thinking skills student's high level of 50.5%. The implication of this research is the improvement of positive self-concept, dorogan to create a good and conducive family environment and school environment for students that need to be done to improve students' high-level thinking skills.
