Abstract
ABSTRACT AMBANG NURANI. The relationship between Job Tenure with Job Satisfaction on Employee PT. Reasuransi Internasional Indonesia (REINDO) in Central Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Economic Education Studies Program, Concentration of Education Administrative Offices, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, May, 2012. This research conducted to describe the relationship between Job Tenure with Job Satisfaction on Employee of PT. Reasusansi Internasional Indonesia in central Jakarta. The study was conducted over four months from January to April 2012. The method used is survey method with the correlation approach. Pupulasi affordable in this study were 50 employees of PT. REINDO division HRD and PK. The number of samples taken from the population is 44 employees by using the standard simple random sampling technique. Daya Y variable (Job Satisfaction) is the primary data which are measured using likert scales that reflect the dimension of Job satisfaction, namely; the job itself, salary, promotion, opportunities, supervision, and co-workers. Meanwhile, to get the data variable X (Job Tenure) is a secondary data obtained from the company on the period of employment. Prior to use, made of construct validity (Construct Validity) through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha Formula. The result of instrument reliability variable Y (Job Satisfaction) of 0,833. Requirements test analysis is performed by finding the regression equation obtained was Y= 65, 59 + 0,688 X. The result of normality test error estimate of Y on X using the Lilliefors test and obtained L 0 = 0,049 compared with L at significant. F hitung kelinearan regression test result (2,02) < F (2,10) so that it can be conducted that the linear regression equation. Test Product Moment correlation coefficient t test, produce t count (3,78) > T table tabel (1,68). The results of these studies concluded that there is a significant and positive relationship between job tenure with job satisfaction. With a coefficient of determination or test result obtained 25,36% determinant of job satisfaction (Y) is determined by the job tenure (X).
