Abstract
ABSTRACT Dita Kusumaningsih. Correlation Between Interpersonal Communication With Job Performance of PT Mitra Jasa Bahasa at Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between interpersonal communication with job performance of employee’s at PT Mitra Jasa Bahasa. The research healed at PT Mitra Jasa Bahasa for three months since November 2011 until February 2012. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, and the data is got from instrument to employee at PT Mitra Jasa Bahasa. The population research was all of employees with total 71 employees, with 58 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (interpersonal communication), using likert scale model questionaire, before that it has content validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Interpersonal Communication) is 0,926. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 62,41 + 0,278X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,057 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,116, so L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count count < L table (17,40) > F (4,02). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F count (0,76) < F (1,93), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r table = 0,487 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t xy = 4,17 while t table = 1,67 and so, t count > t . It means that there are significance correlations between empowerment with employe’s job involvement. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 23,70%, it means that job satisfaction variable determined by 23,20% Affective commitment variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a correlation between interpersoanal communication with jobperformance PT Mitra Jasa Bahasa.
