Abstract

RINI TRI APRILIANI. The Correlation Between Reference Group and Lifestyle With Purchase Decision Smartphone Samsung In The Study Program Of Commerce Education Student In State University Of Jakarta. Study Program of Commerce Education, Faculty of Economics. State University of Jakarta. This research was conducted in Program Of commerce Education Student Faculty Economics in State University Of Jakarta Jalan Rawamangun Muka, Jakarta 13220, for five months, starting form August 2016 to December 2016. The purpose of this study is to determine correlation between reference group and lifestyle with purchase decision smartphone Samsung in the study Program of Commerce Education Student in State University of Jakarta. The research method used is survey method with the purposive sampling, population used are all student in The Study Program of Commerce Education as many as 331 people. The sampling technique used technique of simple random sampling as many as 80 people. The resulting regression equation is 44,59 + 0,6998X1 and 47,81 + 0,65X2. Test requirements analysis that estimates the error normality test regression of Y on X with test Lilliefors produce Lcount = 0,0914 for Y and X1 and Lcount = 0,0914 for Y and X2, while Ltable for n = 80 at 0,05 significant level is 0,09906 Because Lcount < Ltable the estimated error of Y over X normally distribution. Testing Linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is (53,10). < (3,96) for X1 and (74,08) < (3,96) for X1, so it is concluded that the linear equation regression. Hypothesis testing from the significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which (0,78) > (1,70) for X1 and (0,82) > (1,67) for X2, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product moment generating rxy = 0,636 for X1 and rxy = 0,698 for X2. than perfomed the test significance correlation coefficient using t test and the resulting tcount > ttable, tcount = 7,287 for X1 and tcount = 8,607 for X2 and ttable = 1,66. It can conclude that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,636 for X1 and rxy = 0,698 for X2 is positive and significant. The coefficient of determination obtain for is 40,50% for X1, 48,71% for X2. which show that 40,50% of the variant of purchase decision satisfaction is determined by reference group and 48,71% by lifestyle.
