Abstract

ABSTRACT WIWIT SIESTIANINGTIAS. Relationship Between Organizational Commitment with Performance of Employees in PT. Fastfood Indonesia Tbk.Store Cempaka Putih. Center Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Education Program Economics, Concentration Education Office Administration. Department of Economics and Administrative. Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta, January 2016. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between organizational commitment with the performance of employees at PT. Fastfood Indonesia Tbk. Store Cempaka Putih. This research was carried out for 3 months from the month of December 2014 until March 2015. The method used is a survey method with correlation approach. The population of this study were all employees in PT. Fastfood Indonesia Tbk. Store Cempaka Putih which amounts to 60 employees, and affordable population of this study is numbered 51 people from all division. The sample used by using proportional random technique (proportional random sampling). To collect data both study variables, instruments used for variable X (organizational commitement) and the variable Y (performance of employees) is in the form of a questionnaire. Before use, test the construct validity (Construct Validity) through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score of grains with a total score and test reliability with Cronbach alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the instrument variable X (organizational commitment) of 0,964. Test requirements analysis is done by looking at the regression equation is Y = 93,92 + 1,001X. Normality test results Liliefors produce Lcount =0,118 and L = 0,124 at significance level (a) = 0.05 for the number of samples (n) 51. Because Ltable count = (0,118) < L = (0,124), the variables X and Y are normally distributed. tableHypothesis testing regression significance test produces F = (20,86) >Ftable count = (3,98) which means that a significant regression equation. Linearity test regression produces Fcount = 0,60 dan Ftable = 1,74 so Fcount < F it can be concluded that the model is a linear regression equation. Test the product moment correlation coefficient produces r = 0,546. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient significance test using t-test, produce tcount = (4,57) > t = (1,68). The results of these studies conclude that there is a positive relationship between the clarity of the role of the employee's performance. With a coefficient of determination test or the determining test results obtained by 29,86% employee performance variable (Y) is determined by organizational commitment (X).
