Abstract

ABSTRACT RINI AISYAH. Correlation Between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment With Turnover Intention at Rumah Sakit Islam Jakarta Pondok Kopi. Study Program of Economic Education, Consentration of Office Administration Education, Departement of Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, July 2011. This research is aimed to obtain a valid and reliable data (accurate, detail), toward how far correlations between job satisfaction and organizational commitment with turnover intention at Islamic Hospital Jakarta Pondok Kopi. This research is conducted for 3 months since Mei until July 2011. Research method using survey method with correlation approach.This population research is all of islamic hospital Jakarta Pondok Kopi it is amount 655 employees. Achievable population it is amount 234 employees. From 139 people this research data has be taken by using proportional random sampling. To collect both research all variables the instrument using Likert scale, the validity test of contructk trough validation process, calculation of item score coeficient correlation with total score and test of reliability using formula of Alpha Cronbach. Reliability data of X 1 variable (Job Satisfaction) is 0,891, reliability of X2 variable (Organizational Commitment) is 0,890, and Y variable (Turnover Intention) is 0,818. Data account which used is SPSS 17.0. The analysis test by searching equation of regression, Y = 108 - 0,360 X1 - 0,408 X2. From the result of F test, found that job satisfaction and organizational commitment simultaneously influence to performance see from Fcount (66,952) > F table (3,068). The partially, job satisfation has tcount (-3,258) < -ttabel (-1,977). That means that job satisfaction has a significant negative effect to turnover intention. Organizational commitment has t count (-3,645) < -t table (-1,977). That means that job satisfaction has significant negative effect to turnover intention. Beside that, the result of R2 eqqual to 0,496 which means that job satisfaction and organizational commitment can explained turnover intention eqqual to 49,6% and 50,4% explained with another variable.
