Abstract
ABSTRACT Isnawati Dewi. Correlation Between Job Characteristics With organizational Citizenship Behaviour of PT Bintang AdiBusana employees at Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between job characteristics with organizational citizenship behavior of employee’s at PT Bintang Adi Busana. The research healed at PT Bintang AdiBusana for three months since October until Desember 2011. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, and the data is got from instrument to employee at PT Bintang AdiBusana. The population research was all of employees, population at affordable with total 67 employees, with 55 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (Job Characteristics) and Y variable data (Organizational Citizenship Behavior), using likert scale model questionnaire, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Job Characteristics) is 0,8485 and Y variable ( Organizational Citizenship Behavior) 0,844. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y =30,65+ 0,566X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L = 0,090 Ltable n=55 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,119 so L count count < L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution.For regression significance test and the result is F count (17,46) > F table table (4,03). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F count (0,86 < F (2,10), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r xy table = 0,230 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t count = 4,16 while t table = 1,68 and so, t . It means that there are significance correlations between job characteristics with organizational citizenship behaviour.Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 24,78%, it means that organizational citizenship behaviour variable determined by 24,78% job characteristics variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a correlation between job characteristics with organizational citizenship behaviour PT Bintang AdiBusana employes at jakarta.
