Abstract

ABSTRACT ANGGA SEPTIYAJI, 8105132176, The Influence of Work Motivation and Organizational Commitment toward Job Satisfaction at PT Angels Product in Banten., Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2017. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence on work motivation and organizational commitment toward job satisfaction at employees of PT Angels Product in Banten. This research was conducted for three months, from March to May 2017. The method used in this research is survey method with causality approach. The population of this research is all employees of Power Plant Division which amounted to 76 employees, with reference to the Isaac table then the number of samples in this study were 62 respondents. The technique of selecting respondents is by using simple random sampling, that is by using simple random method without looking at the existing strata, for collecting data using interview technique and questionnaire with Likert scale. The three variables are Job Satisfaction (Y), Work Motivation (X1) and Organizational Commitment (X2) is the primary data obtained from questionnaire. Technical data analysis used are, first is test requirement analysis that contains test of normality and test of linearity. Second, the classical assumption test. Third, multiple linear regression test. Fourth, hypothesis test that contains T test and F test. Lastly is by coefficient of determination analysis. T of Work Motivation variable that is equal to 2,561 and T count count for variable Organization Commitment is 3,894. Where T is equal to 2,001, this means there is a influence partially both variable Motivation Work and Organizational Commitment variable to Job Satisfaction variable, because Tcount is greater than T . As for F test, found the results of Tcount is 19.924 and Ftable table of 3.150. Where it can be concluded that there is a simultaneously influence between variables Work Motivation and Organizational Commitment Variables toward Job Satisfaction variable, because F is greater than F . Multiple regression equation obtained result = 21,908 + 0,367X1 + 0,457X2. The coefficient of determination Rtable 2 is 0.403. This means that the variable Motivation Work (X1) and Organizational Commitment (X2) affect Job Satisfaction (Y) as much as 40.3%.
