Abstract

ABSTRACT Marlinia Qibthiyah. Correlation between Emotional Intelligence With Employee’s Productivity PT Kabelindo Murni Tbk. The Skripsi, Jakarta : Concentration of Office Administration, Study Program of Economic Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economy, State University of Jakarta. 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the Correlation Between Emotional Intelligence With Employee’s Productivity PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk. The research healed at PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk for three months since April until June, 2012. The method of this research is survey method with correlation approach. The population research was all of employees with total 347 employees, while the reach of populations were production’s employee with total 99 employees with 78 employees for sampling. To collect data for two variables, the instrument that were used for variable X is questionnaire and for variable Y was taken from employee’s productivity report period of July, 2012. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y= 29,21 + 0,703X. After that, data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L = 0,085 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,100, so L Count < L . It means that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count (22,67) > F table table (3,98). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F count count (1,02) < F (1,84), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r = 0,479 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t xy count = 4,76 while t = 1,67 and so, t count > t . It means that there are significance and positive correlations between emotional intelligence and employee’s productivity. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 22,98%, it means that Emotional Intelligence variable determined by 22,98%, Employee’s Productivity variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a positive correlations between Emotional Intelligence and Employee’s Productivity at PT Kabelindo Murni Tbk.
