Abstract

ABSTRACT Reza Zaturrizki. Correlation Between Affective Commitment With Job Satisfction of PT Alam Asri employees at West Java. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2011. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between affective commitment with job satisfaction of employee’s at PT Alam Asri. The research healed at PT Alam Asri for three months since September until November 2011. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, and the data is got from instrument to employee at PT Alam Asri. The population research was all of employees with total 95 employees, with 75 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (Affective commitment) and Y variable data (Job Satisfaction), using likert scale model questionaire, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Affective commitment) is 0,995 and Y variable ( Job Satisfaction) 0,843. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 50,57 + 0,393X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,068 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,1023, so L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count count < L (4,09) > F (3,98). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F (1,11) < F (1,83), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r table = 0,230 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t xy = 2,02 while t table = 1,67 and so, t count > t . It means that there are significance correlations between affective commitment with job satisfaction. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 5,30%, it means that job satisfaction variable determined by 5,30% Affective commitment variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a correlation between affective commitment with job satisfactionat PT Alam Asri.
