Abstract

Ibnu Taris Hibatul Wafi, 2017; The Influence of Motivation and Communication on Job Perfomance at PT. X (Persero). Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration in Human Resource Management, Management Studies Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study were: 1) To know the description of job performance, motivation and communication at PT. X (Persero), 2) To determine whether there is influence between motivation on job performance at PT. X (Persero), 3) To determine whether there is influence between communication on job performance at PT. X (Persero), 4) To determine whether there is influence between motivation and communication together on job performance at PT. X (Persero). The sample of this research are 98 employees of at PT. X (Persero). Research data retrieval by survey method with questionnaires and the data processed with SPSS version 24. This research using descriptive and explanatory analysis. The results of regression showed that there is positive and significant correlation between motivation on job performance, there is positive and significant correlation between communication on job performance. Motivation and communicattion simultaneously positive and significant impact on job performance to the value of F(40.395>3.09) and significant (0.000 <0.05). R2 values of 0.460, or (46,00%). This shows that 46,00% of job performance is explained by factors of motivation and communication while the remaining 54,00% influenced or explained by other variables.
