Abstract

ABSTRACT YUSNIA WILLYANTI. Correlation Between Self-Efficacy With Job Performance of Employee at PT ASABRI (Persero) Jakarta. Research Paper, Jakarta : Study of Office Administration Education Program, Economic and Administration Departement, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2012. This research conducted to know the correlation between self efficacy with job performance of employee at PT ASABRI (Persero) Jakarta. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach. The populations research was all of employees with total 315 employees, while the reach of populations were employees in Personalia Division with total 60 employees, with 51 employees for simple random sampling. For collecting a both of research variable data, instrument that used for X variable data (Self-Efficacy) using kuosionerwith likert scale and Y variable data (Job Performance) using secondary data from company. Before used, thaat it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Self-Efficacy) is 0,898. The analysis test by finding regression equations, that is Y = 12,17+ 3,897 X. After that data normality test by using liliefors formula and teh result is Lcount = 1,08. in significant level 0,05 and Ltable = .0,124 so Lcount < Ltable. Mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regresion significancetest and the result is, Fcount (12,50) > Ftable (4,04).Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test Fcount (1,01) < Ftable (1,95) showing that, is rxy = 0,451 continued by using correlation coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result tcount = 3,54 while ttable = 1,68 and so, tcount > ttable. It means that there are significance and positive correlations between self-efficacy with job performance. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a positive correlations between self-efficacy with job performance. With determination coefficient test is 20,32 %, it means that job performance variable (Y) determined by 20,32 % self-efficacy variable (X).
