Abstract

ABSTRACT FRILTIA DWI HERJANTI. Correlation between Organizational Culture with the participation of cooperative members in Cooperative Telkom (KOPEGTEL) East Jakarta. Jakarta : Studi Economic Education Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State UniversityofJakarta,2011. This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between Organizational Culture with the participation of cooperative members in Cooperative Telkom (KOPEGTEL) East Jakarta. The research was conducted at Cooperative Telkom (KOPEGTEL) for about a month, starting from the month of November 2011 until December 2011. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study were all members of the Cooperative Telkom (KOPEGTEL) in East Jakarta. While the affordable population are members of cooperatives PT.TELKOM headquarters are in East Jakarta branch. Samples are used as much as 58 members. Sampling techniques in the study were proporsial sampling technique with a sample table at the level of error of 5%. Calculation begins by finding the research data and the derived regression equation Y = 33.11 + 0.737 X. Then do the test requirements of data analysis with error estimates normality test using the formula Lilifoers. Obtained from the calculation of the value of L count = 0.077 while the L table for n = 58 is 0.116.Because the count L <L table, then testing the normality of the estimated error of regression Y on X shows that the error estimates of regression Y on X is normally distributed. The results of calculations for keberartian regression test (a = 0.05) obtained F calculated = 36.94 and F table = 4.03. Since F calculated> F table, then the model is a significant regression equation. For the calculation of linearity of regression test (a = 0.05) obtained F calculated = 0.92 and 2.08 F table. Since F calculated <F table, then the model is a linear regression equation. Hypothesis testing using the formula of Pearson Product Moment correlation r xy yield of 0.630 while the results of tests of significance obtained tcount equal 6.08 and 1.68 for TTable. Because the t count> t table, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Organizational Culture with the participation of cooperative members in Cooperative Telkom (KOPEGTEL) East Jakarta. The calculation of the coefficient of determination showed 39.74% variation in Y variables are determined by the variable X. Conclusions of this study is that there is a positive relationship between cultural relations with the Organization of Cooperative Members participation.
