Abstract

ABSTRACT Juwita rahmadona, 2016; The Influence of Work Environment and Career Development on Employee Job Satisfaction on functional at Head Office Perum Damri. Thesis, Jakarta: Human Resource Management Concentration, S1 Management Studies Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this research are: 1) To know the description of an work environment, career development and job satisfaction experienced by employees on functional at Head Office Perum Damri, 2) To determine whether there is influence of work environment on job satisfaction at Head Office Perum Damri 3) To determine whether there is influence of career development on job satisfaction on functional at Head Office Perum Damri 4) To determine whether there is influence of work environment and career development affect the job satisfaction on functional at Head Office Perum Damri. The sample this research are 104 employees on Head Office Perum Damri. Research data retrieval using probability sampling method is a sampling technique that gives the opportunity or equal opportunity for each element or member of the population to be selected into the sample. This research uses descriptive and explanatory analysis. Results of regression analysis showed there is a positive and significant impact between work environment on job satisfaction, there is positive and significant correlation between career development and job satisfaction. Working environment and Career Development together have an effect on job satisfaction with the value of Fcount (103.361)> F table (3.09) and significant (0.000 <0.05). The value of adjusted R2 of 0,672, or 67.2%. It shows that 67.2% of job satisfaction explained by factors work environment and career development, while 32.8% were influenced or explained by other variables.
