Abstract

ABSTRACT Dian Citra Asriyani, 2014; Influence of Work Environment and Organizational Culture towards Job Satisfaction, with the Work Period As Control Variables, Case Study on PT. Dian Digital Media, Jakarta. Undergraduate Thesis, Jakarta: Human Resource Management Concentration, Management Study Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of these research are:1) To know the description of the work environment, organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employee working period at PT. Dian Digital Media. 2) To know the influence of work environment which had been controlled by working period on job satisfaction at PT. Dian Digital Media. 3) To know the influence of organizational culture which had been controlled by working period on job satisfaction at PT. Dian Digital Media. 4) To know the influence of work environment and organizational culture which had been controlled by work period simultaneously influence on job satisfaction at PT. Dian Digital Media. The analysis conducted in this research is descriptive and explanatory analysis. The study was conducted on 90 employees at PT. Dian Digital Media, while the techniques of data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and the data being processed using SPSS 22.0. The regression shows that there is influence between work environment which had been controlled by working period towards job satisfaction and there is influence between organizational culture which had been controlled by working period towards job satisfaction. Work environment and organizational culture which had been controlled by working period simultaneously influence job satisfaction through Fcount > F (11.198 > 3.10) with significance value (0.000 < 0.05). This research has figured out the score of work environment and organizational culture influence on job satisfaction is 0.200 or (20%) through the result of Rtable value while the rest is 80% is influenced by the other factors.
