Abstract

CAESAR PUTRI PURNAMA DEWI. 2009. 8223097589. “Promotion and Awareness Analysis of Tabungan Haji Products at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Unit Nusantara Depok.” DIII Marketing Study Program, Departement of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this Scientific Research was to find out customer awareness of tabungan haji products at BRI Unit Nusantara, to find out a promotion tool that is used, to find out the promotion role in creating awareness, and to find out the assessment of the customer to used promotion tools. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis using data collection techniques of observation, surveys, interviews, and questionnaire. From the results of the writing can be seen that the level of customer awareness of Tabungan Haji product is low. Promotion tool that is used as a brochure to be effective in building customer awareness, but still small number of brochures available on the Unit Nusantara, so the customer is still difficult to get the Tabungan Haji brochures. While the website and customer service are still considered to be less effective, because the small number of customers who have access or obtain information via the website and customer service. By adding the number of brochures, socialization site and retraining for the customer service, so Tabungan Haji would be more awareness of the customers, and the impact on increasing the number of customers.
