Abstract
KEN DISA CHRYSOSSACHYA HATTA. 2009. 8223097607. The Role of Promotion in Increasing Awareness of Fantastique Multimedia Show at The Ocean Ecopark Ancol. DIII Marketing Study Program, Departement of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. This scientific work aims to determine respondents’ awareness of the existence of the Fantastique Multimedia Show. To find promotion tool which is used by PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Tbk. in promoting Fantastique Multimedia Show, to find out the role of promotion in creating awareness of Fantastique Multimedia Show ride, and to find out respondents' assessment of the promotion tools which used by PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Tbk to promote Fantastique Multimedia Show ride. The methodology used in writing this scientific work is descriptive analysis with the data collection methodology are observation, surveys, interviews, and questionnaires. From the results of the writing can be seen that awareness of the Fantastique Multimedia Show is still low because of uneffective promotion activities, therefore, it is necessary to increase the promotion activities in order to incerase the awareness.
