Abstract
ABSTRACT EFAN EDIAR. The Relationship Between Organizational Commitment Turnover Intention at PT. Basuki Pratama Engineering Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration Education Office Administration, Economics of Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between organizational commitment on Turnover Intention in PT. Basuki Pratama Engineering Jakarta. This research was conducted during the four months from March to June 2015. The method used was survey method with the correlational approach. The research population is all employees at PT. Basuki Pratama Engineering. Samples were all employees of PT. Basuki Pratama Engineering Human Resources (HR), amounting to 40 people. The samples used were 36 people by using simple random sampling technique, the instrument is used for variable X (Organizational Commitment) and Variable Y (Turnover Intention) in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study starts by looking for a simple regression equation and the regression equation y = 86.87 + 0,332X while testing requirements analysis that estimates the error normality test regression of Y on X with the test Liliefors obtained Lhitung (0.123) <Ltabel (0.147) , this means that the sample comes from a population of normal distribution. Significance test and regression linearity using Analysis of Variance table (ANOVA) Fhitung regression equation (5.09)> F table (4.13) which states regression means. Linearity test regression produces Fhitung (2.36) <F table (2.61) which shows that the model used is linear regression. Hypothesis testing correlation coefficient between variables X and Y do with the formula of Pearson Product Moment that produce rxy of -0.361, the significance level a = 0:05 of the sample of 36 employees so that it can be concluded that r xy = -0.361 <0. This indicates that there is a negative relationship between the variables X (organizational commitment) with a variable Y (turnover intention). Based on the calculation results show that t = [-2.26]; while t table = 1.70. It can be concluded that t> t table, Ho is rejected, then there is a significant relationship between the variables X (Commitment Organization) with a variable Y (Turnover Intention).
