Abstract

ABDUL AZIS APRIANSYAH. Correlation Between the Marketing Mix with Decisions Purchasing Motorcycle Kawasaki at Citizens RW. 001 Village Menteng, Central Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta : Commerce Education Program. Department of Economics and Administration. Faculty of Economics. State University of Jakarta. July 2013. This study aimed to obtain information and knowledge based on data or facts are valid and valid, true and trustworthy about how much the relationship between marketing mix with purchasing decisions Kawasaki motorcycle in RW. 001 Village Menteng, Jakarta. The research was carried out for 5 months from February to June 2013. The research method used was a survey method with a correlation approach. The population in this study were all residents of RW. 001 and affordable population of this study is inhabitant who have own the Kawasaki brand motorcycles totaled 40 people. While the sample is used as many as 36 people. With standard calculations of sampling error of 5%. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random. To gather data variable X (Marketing Mix) and variable Y (Purchasing Decisions), instrument used shaped a Likert scale. Before the instrument is used for variables X and Y are used test the construct validity through the validation process is the calculation of the coefficient score points with the total score and reliability tests with Alpha Cronbach formula. Results of reliability variable X (marketing mix) of 0.881 and a variable Y (Purchasing Decisions) of 0.829. These results indicate the two variables is reliable. Test requirements analysis which transactions are carried out for the obtained regression equation is Y = 14.91 +0.613 X. Next is the estimated regression error normality test Y on X with Liliefors test and obtained Lhitung = 0.096 compared with Ltabel at significance level of 0.05 at = 0.148. Then Lo <Lt. this means that the error estimates Y over X is normally distributed. While the linearity regression testing obtained Calculate F (0,80) <F table (2,29). This shows that the linear regression model used. Test the significance of regression Compute F (18.81)> F table (4.13), this proves that the mean regression. While testing the correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment obtained rxy = 0.597, then this means that there is a positive relationship between purchase decision and marketing mix Kawasaki motorcycles. Then proceed with the coefficient significance test using the t test. The result is t = (4.337), while the table = the df = n-2 = 36-2 = 34 and the significance level was 0.05 (1.70), mean t> t table. Calculating the coefficient of determination obtained rxy2 = 0.5972 = 0.356409. It shows that 35.6% variation marketing mix with purchasing decisions. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between marketing mix decisions with the purchase of Kawasaki motorcycles in the RW. 001 Village Menteng, Central Jakarta.
