Abstract

ABSTRACT FARADILA JUNIARTI. 8105145112. The Effect Of Recruitment On Employees Job Satisfaction At PT. Wijaya Karya (PERSERO) Tbk In Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2018. This research aims to obtain data on the effect of recruitment on employees job satisfaction at PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk in Jakarta. This research was conducted for three months starting from January to March 2018. This research was conducted by survey method with correlation approach and using primary data. Researcher use questionnaire with likert scale for data collection with proportional random sampling technique. Population of the research is employees of Department of Industrial Plant PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk which amount to 220 employees and 134 respondents by referring to tables Isaac and Michael. From the test requirements analysis performed, it can be stated that the research is normal and linear distributed with the regression equation Ŷ = 18.80 + 1.393X. Based on the calculation of regression significance test obtained Fcount = 76.50 and value Ftabel = 3.91 which regression equation means. From the results of correlation coefficient test by using product moment from Pearson obtained rxy value = 0,606 it means there is a strong and positive relationship between recruitment variable with job satisfaction variable. Based on t test result known that there is significant effect between recruitment to job satisfaction where obtained tcount = 8.75 and ttabel = 1,656. From the result of calculation of coefficient determination of job satisfaction variable (Y) is determined by variable Recruitment (X) equal to 36,69% with the rest effected by other factor. That can be obtained the results indicate that there is a positive and significant effect between the recruitment on employees job satisfaction at PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk in Jakarta.
