Abstract
Salman Al Farisi.Correlation between Perceived Quality with Purchasing Decision Private Brand Product on Alfa Midi Cijantung in Perumahan Pesona Indah. Skripsi. Jakarta: Study Program of Commerce Education, Department of Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic. State University of Jakarta, January 2014. The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between Perceived Quality with purchasing decision product on Alfa Midi in Perumahan Pesona Indah by using empirical data and facts are valid and reliable. This research conduct at Perumahan Pesona Indah Cijantung, during the three months from October to Desember 2013. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study is people on Perumahan Pesona Indah Cijantung as many as 89 people. The sample used as many as 48 people. The sampling technique in this study is proportional sampling. To get data from two variables, researcher using likert scale model for Perceived Quality (variable X) and purchasing decision (variable Y). For variable X, from 32 statements which had validated, 27 statements were valid and 5 statements were drop. For variable Y, from 32 statements which had validated, 25 statements were valid and 7 statements were drop. The calculation of both variable were using Alpha Cronbach method and variable X reliability is 0,840 and variable Y reliability is 0,839, this proof that the instrument were valid and reliable. The equation for linear regression is Ŷ = 26,8 + 0,604 X.Analysis of condition test, which is normality error test for regression approximates of X on Y with Liliefors test, result in Lcount=0,072, while Ltable = 0,127, because Lcount < Ltable then the normality error test of Y on X distributed normal. Testing linearity of regression result in Fcount= 0,95< Ftable = 2,03, it is mean the equation is linier. Significance regression result in Fcount= 20,5> Ftable= 4,05, it is mean that the regression equation is significant. The correlation coefficient is calculated using the formula of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,555, then significance of product moment correlation is tested with t test which yields tcount= 5,44 and ttable= 1,67 at significance level of 0,05, it can be result that product moment correlation rxy = 0,555 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 31%, which indicates that 31% of purchasing decision is determined by Perceived Quality.
