Abstract

ZAHRA NUR AZIZAH, The Correlation Between Career Development With Job Satisfaction of PT. FONDANUSA ADITAMA CIKARANG employee. Studies Program Commerce Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2013. The research was conducted at PT. FONDANUSA ADITAMA CIKARANG, for fourmonths from March 2013 until June 2013.The research methodused is survey method with the correlational approach. The purpose of the research is to gain the proper knowledge (valid, true and valid) and trustworthy (dependable, reliable) on the relationship between career development and job satisfaction. The populationin this studyare Residents of employee PT. Fondanusa Aditama Cikarang, where as The possible populations were Residents of employee PT. Fondanusa Aditama Cikarang production department about 40 residents. The technique which is used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 36 residents. The resulting regression equationis Ŷ=38,16+0,62X. Test requirements analysis of the normality testerror of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount lilieforstest = 0,0721, while the Ltable for n= 36 at 0,05 significant levelis 0.14767. Because the Lcount<Ltable then an errorestimate of Yon X is normally distributed. Testinglinearity of regression produces Fcalculated<Ftable is 1,15<2,33, so it was concluded that the linea requation regreasi. From test significan ceregression produces Fcount>Ftable, which is12,32 >4,13, meaning that the regressionequationis significant. Correlation coefficientof Pearson Product Moment generatin grxy=0,517, then performed the tests ignificance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resultingtcount=3,520 and Ttable=1,70. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy=0,517 is significant. The coefficientof determination obtained for 26,17% which shows that 26,17% of the variation of job satisfactionis determinedby the career development.
