Abstract

Moehamad Hutomo Rahardjo, 8105145052, The Effect Of Work Motivation And Career Development On Employee Performance At PT. Lativi Media Karya In Jakarta. Script, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2018. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of work motivation and career development on employee performance at PT Lativi Media Karya. This study took six months, starting from January 2018 to June 2018. This research was conducted by using survey method. The population reached in this study amounted to 115 employees. Based on the table Isaac and Michael the number of samples in this study as many as 84 respondents. The technique of selecting respondents using proportional random sampling, that is using proportional random method. For data processing, researchers processed the questionnaire by using Likert scale. Employee Performance Variables (Y) and Work Motivation variables (X1) are primary data obtained from questionnaires the company’s employee submit. Same case with the Career Development variable (X2) is the primary data in the form of research questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is, first test requirement analysis consisted of test of normality and test of linearity. The second test classical assumption tests consist of multicolinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The third multiple linear regression tests. Fourth hypothesis test that contains t test and F test. The last calculation of coefficient of determination t calculation for work motivation variables 3.830 and t count for career development variables 3.175, which is ttable equal to 1.667. It means there is significant partial influence of Work Motivation and Career Development variables on Employee Performance because tcount> ttabel. While Test F has a value Fcount of 57.996 which Ftabel has a value of 3.11 where Fcount> Ftable. Thus it can be concluded that there is influence simultaneously between variables Work Motivation and Career Development on Employee Performance. Multiple regression equation obtained result Ẏ = 0.953 + 0.423X1 + 0.593X2. The coefficient value of determination R2 is 0.589. The value shows the variables Work Motivation (X1) and Career Development (X2) affect Employee Performance (Y) as much as 58.9%. Keywords: Employee Performance,, Work Motivation, Career Development
